A Diversified real estate development from single-family and multi-family to retail, commercial and mixed-use projects is seeking a VP of Development for their first recreational park based in The Woodlands. 


  1. Full responsibility for development of the first Recreational Park
  2. Full responsibility for building the Recreational Park business and portfolio of cash-flow producing properties, each stabilized and operational
  3. Responsibility for building the RV Park development and management team
  4. Responsibility for creating a 5-Year Plan for the RV Park business and presenting to the Signorelli “Deal Team” for approval
  5. Locate, negotiate and present to the Executive Team for approval each potential RV Park location:
    1. Estimate final purchase price of land and availability of financing with CFO
    2. Estimate land and RV Park development cost
    3. Project Revenues by RV space type, price and occupancy
    4. Project Net Cash Flow and ROI
  6. Maximize the efficient use of space in designing the Park layout, including:
    1. Location of park for accessibility and proximity to features such as lakes, hiking
    2. Land Development requirements, terrain & contour, water feature
    3. Park Infrastructure – roads, drainage, sewers & water, electricity
    4. Park Amenities – park office, store, recreational hall, showers & rest rooms
    5. Marketing – coordinate with Marketing to develop logo and plans
  7. Determine the best mix of accommodations for the park:
    1. RV parking spaces, pull-through or back in
    2. Amenities for each space: table or covered table, water, electricity, sewer
    3. Cabins
    4. Tent Camping
  8. Manage all aspects of the park development and construction
  9. Make all arrangements for the management and maintenance of the property
  10. Stabilize the property operations, management and net cash flow
  11. Move on to the next RV Park development opportunities.


Minimum 10+ years of Real Estate Development Experience,

Previous RV Park Development Highly Preferred

BS in Finance, Business, Construction Management or related field

MBA (with real estate focus) or Masters in Real Estate (Preferred)

Good knowledge of agencies, institutions and processes involved in real estate development

Strong real estate law, financial modeling, analytical, and budgeting skills

Strong written, oral communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team
