High-Level Description

This position provides overall planning and implementation for all aspects of the Purchase to Pay Process including design and definition of P2P process maps, input into SCM policies, P2P procedures, verification of job roles and training & coaching materials. Additionally, this role is responsible for ongoing process improvements (either received through the shared services team or through the P2P Team) to ensure enactment that manual and automated processes are fit for purpose and deliver business benefits envisioned. This role is also responsible for working with delivery teams to achieve process update and results. End to end process for Purchase to Pay includes integrating of internal functions and external stakeholders in support of Enbridge’s day to day business.

Specific Accountabilities

• Directly responsible for all assigned deliverables within the end to end P2P process - e.g. process definition, job role definition, input to training, coaching etc.
• Responsible for maintenance of all associated documentation and master sources with the latest versions and audit trail of changes - e.g. process maps, functional specifications, requirements traceability matrix, related policies, procedures, training materials, KPI measurements etc.
• Provide deep end to end process knowledge of the design to enable implementation teams to undertake fit-gap analysis.
• Responsible for writing functional requirements specifications and for prioritizing within the respective teams.
• Work with implementation teams to maintain the integrity of MDM (Master Data).
• Directly responsible for participation in system testing, prior to releases of product, to enable functional acceptance of the combined process & supporting tool.
• Contribute process knowledge post deployment.
• Participate in development of metrics for ongoing measurement of P2P process, delivery, simplification and ongoing business improvement.
• Provide business support /understanding of the installed process/application.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in Supply Chain Management with a specific strong background in procurement within the oil and gas industry. An MBA will be an asset.
• A professional supply chain management designation, or progress towards one, is desirable.
• Extensive demonstrated experience leading project teams involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Aptitude and communications skills related to leading projects and acting independently requiring minimal supervision.
• Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative; initiate, lead and manage change.
• Highly knowledgeable in Supply Chain Management P2P practices and with buying channels such as P-Card, Catalogues, etc.
• Highly effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to work with diverse groups and individual personalities (management, project teams, operations, stakeholders, business partners, vendors, contractors).
• Required to be highly effective in facilitation skills, have business acumen, understand P2P practices, and drive stakeholder engagements.
• Strong planning, organizing, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills, supplemented with a practical aptitude.
• Results oriented combined with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a proven ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project and operating environments.
• Ability to pro-actively influence stakeholders and events and to be assertive as required to obtain the best overall value for the Company. (Influence without Authority)

• Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle
