Job Description

Our NW area construction services client is seeking a dynamic and sharp Sales Assistant to add to their very busy sales team. The sales team has recently expanded as the organization is booming in area projects.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide administrative support to a sales team of approximately 5-6 sales professionals.
  • Enter purchase orders.
  • Enter quotes - Quotes are received via fax or email.  They are to be entered into an Excel spreadsheet and distributed randomly to the different sales personnel.  They are tracked through the Excel spreadsheet - possibly Oracle as well - if a customer calls in with a question.)
  • Check order status.
  • Prepare general correspondence for customers - quotes, letters, presentations, etc.
  • Order office supplies for the sales team.
  • Answer phone calls for the sales team and screen the calls for the appropriate sales person.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous sales support experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
