Job Description

SENIOR M&A ANALYST

This is a newly created role will help drive acquisitions and enterprise value of the organization.  It is a highly visible role, which will help open opportunities at the company.  Salary DOE.

Summary:

The Senior M&A Analyst will assist with the preparation and analysis of financial data
for our acquisition targets. This individual will examine financial packages to ensure all
appropriate documents are received and ready to be analyzed, create financial models, and work closely with our M&A group to prepare deal summaries for acquisition review by our leadership team and Board of Directors. The Senior M&A Analyst will support the team throughout the acquisition process, as acquisition targets move from initial identification, to due diligence, to the closing process.

Job Requirements:

  • Self-starter, highly motivated and talented performer, with a focus on collaboration
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in developing financial
    models and analyzing financial statements
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage to deadlines with a sense of urgency and
    accountability
  • Advanced Excel skills, including modeling skills
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; written and verbal
     

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in finance, economics and/or accounting
  • Exposure to and experience with M&A transactions and the broader deal-oriented
    process or environment
    3 years of experience in deal analysis, due diligence or other financial modeling
  • Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing
    detail, Excel-based, financial models
  • Experience working independently as well as in a team environment
