A global energy client is seeking a Junior Jira System Analyst for a direct hire role.

If this interests you, we are looking for a Support Systems Analyst with a real passion for the Jira platform. In this role you will be supporting our employees as a first point of contact and will be providing solutions to their technical issues. We will rely on you to actively listen to our employees and utilize your technical experience, passion and creativity to meet their needs.

You'll need some strong written and verbal interpersonal skills as well as a love of interacting directly with employees to achieve customer happiness. We also value a prompt, responsive, responsible, and friendly approach to customer problems and the temperament to work through tough technical challenges. Our team is considered a development team, so if you have experience in Information Systems, self-organizing and iterative Development Teams using Agile/Scrum/ Kanban, Jira Administration, and a Computer Science background, you'll fit right in.


Support enterprise versions of Jira Software, Jira Core, and Jira Service Desk

Ability to ensure ticket resolution in a timely manner; adhere to SLAs

Develop a deep understanding of our business processes, software, and applications

Provide remote multi-tier support to employees around the world

Build and modify Jira workflows and Jira project-related schemes and automation routines

Document required bug-fixes, end-user feature improvements, and operations feature improvements

Streamlining processes to make ones job more efficient.

Work with internal groups to develop business requirements to provide a solution that will serve their needs now and in the near-term future

You'll be working with a highly collaborative team


At least 1 year of Jira experience required
Experience in building and modifying Jira workflows and Jira project-related schemes, Kanban/Sprint boards, and automation routines 
2+ years experience in an IT Support or Help Desk role preferred
Strong communications and interpersonal skills in English with the ability to build trust and integrity in your relationships with our business partners.
Ability to thrive in dynamic environments with multiple changing priorities, where prioritization and time management are
necessary tools.
You are a self-starter with the dedication to work independently and as part of a team; ability to multi-task
