FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS MANAGER

Reports to CFO

Job Description

  • Develop, implement and manage integrated budgeting, financial planning and analysis and valuation processes and related tools.
  • Develop, implement and manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and analysis packages.
  • Own corporate and portfolio company financial models including working with various functions at portfolio companies to maintain such financial models.
  • Establish clear link between accounting actuals and financial projections.
  • Develop material to support investor meetings, management meetings, board of director meetings and other activities.
  • Support strategic and commercial initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor group objectives, budgets and key performance indicators.
  • Develop, lead and mentor a high performing team.

Experience and Job Requirements

  • BBA in accounting or finance.
  • CPA preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience leading multinational corporate financial planning and analysis teams, preferably in a public company environment.
  • Proven financial modeling skills with an extensive knowledge of financial planning and analysis, financial accounting, financial reporting and tax planning.
  • Experience working with various ERP systems, preferably SAP and Dynamics GP.
  • Excellent business, commercial and risk judgement with ability to synthesize complex issues.
  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills.
  • Well-honed project management, organization and coordination skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with a candid yet constructive communication style.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite products and proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Able to travel, domestically and internationally.
