Job Description


The Fleet and Logistics Lead position is responsible for coordinating and managing all Fleet activity in support several business units and in accordance with Company fleet policies and procedures. Collaborates with stakeholders and provides strategic/ tactical guidance related to fleet management and procurement initiatives. Acts as a subject matter expert as it relates to the Company’s fleet programs and practices.

Supporting the following locations: North America, with assets in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, North Dakota, Louisiana, and California


  • Responsible for preparing, negotiating, executing, and managing Master Agreements with dealerships and fleet database administrator.
  • Operates as a Subject Matter Expert as it relates to Fleet/Logistics policies and procedures and is the key point of contact for questions ensuring all processes are understood and followed by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage fleet activity across the enterprise including purchases, leases, and disposal of vehicles, administration of registration and titles, upfitting specifications, and processing of invoice payments while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain data within the fleet database and reconcile for accuracy in reporting and tracking (driver assignments, titles, location transfers, pool vehicles, mileage.)
  • Prepare management reporting as required
  • Direct interaction with Risk, HR, Safety, and Area management to ensure all incoming requests are processed efficiently and within conformance to Company policy.
  • Creates and maintains new/ existing relationships with dealerships and agreed upon database administrator.


  1. Education & License
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience
  1. Experience: 
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in the following areas: Fleet, Transportation, Facilities, or related SCM business
  1. Skills/Competencies:
  • Leadership experience within a large fleet environment
    • Proactive, well-organized and effective time management with the ability to lead and participate in multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
    • Knowledge of vehicle procurement and fleet contract negotiations
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  1. Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (Transportation and/or Logistics) preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
