Job Description

Our North area exploration and production client is seeking an energetic, outgoing and technically qualified Administrative Assistant that will report to upper management. Perfom a wide range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. The qualified candidate must have experience supporting executives or management leaders.

The qualified candidate must have prior experience performing the following duties:

  • Coordinate and facilitate calendars to arrange appointments, meetings and conferences
  • Screen telephone calls, visitors and maintaining calendar
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Generate accounting reports as assigned by VP and Controller
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements as assigned
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Overall office management – order and maintain inventory of all office goods/supplies
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • 60+ wpm typing required – level of accuracy is critical
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
  • Composing, designing and editing correspondence and reports
  • Must have proven interpersonal, initiative, communication and leadership skills
  • Possess and coordinate strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Problem assessment and problem solving
  • Consistently provide and maintain a high degree of detail and accuracy
  • Maintain the security of confidential information
