Job Description

North area client is seeking an Intake Representative – Level 1 is an entry-level position focused on data entry. The position entails copying data from PDF faxes into the client's enrollment system ensuring data is entered accurately and efficiently. The position requirements will assist in developing the skills required to advance to other levels and expand their knowledge of systems and equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATION

  • Process incoming faxes and save to the appropriate company directories
  • Maintain patient database in accordance with HIPAA and Company protocol to ensure all patient information is current and up-to-date.
  • Proficient in the use and mechanics of all Company Cardiac Event Monitors
  • Clearly communicate information to patients and internal customers
  • Remains aware and takes care of details that are easy to overlook or dismiss as insignificant.
  • Ability to be consistent and reliable
  • Earns others’ trust and respect through consistent honesty and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Ability to readily modify, respond, or change with minimal personal resistance
  • Ability to effectively hear, understand and follow directions or instructions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to two years of experience in a customer service or data entry role required
  • Must be able to handle a high volume of work
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Capable of operating a multi-line telephone system
  • Demonstrates initiative and works effectively with others
  • A professional phone manner.
  • Ability to type accurately.
  • Work independently with minimal or no supervision.
  • Ability to work between 7am to 7pm and weekends as needed to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Bilingual is a plus
