SUMMARY:

Established family office in Houston seeks strong Accountant to manage all accounting functions

DESCRIPTION:

Our client in central Houston is an established family office with a well respected and long standing Houston family.  This company is looking for an experienced, dedicated and detail oriented family office accountant to work with the family on all family finance matters.  This role will pay bills, interact with family staff, develop and maintain budgets, prepare financial statements and interact with CPAs from the CPA firm.  This role is a general accounting role that will primarily work in Quickbooks and will handle all accounting and finance functions for the organization and support and maintain accounting controls.  It reports to a family office CFO. 

REQUIREMENTS:

BBA Accounting

CPA desirable

Experience in public accounting helpful, family office experience desirable

Quickbooks experience desirable

Strong interpersonal skills and high ethical standards
